Water Sediment Filter
Excessive Rust in Well Water?
Our well was fin until about 2.5 years ago. Now the rust is so bad I have to change water filters every 3-5 days. The sediment is rust/orange colored. The pump and all the plastic pipe from the pump to the house have been replaced. What could change in a welll to do that. Prior to this a filter was not even needed.
as mentioned well pipe rusted but in two years with the rate of filter change I doubt it…
the other is iron in water..seems like an excessive amount…I change my filter monthly …..the vein of water supplying your well must have changed and now you are getting iron…have your well tested, check with neighbors, earthquake, blasting in area,
